TERMS AND RULES OF THE GAME FOR RENTAL

Dear customer, the rules outlined below are very important for your safety, your responsibility, and ours. Please read them carefully, as they are very important.

What guarantee is required at departure?

A deposit of €350 is required for the Vespa rental. This amount will be refunded at the end of the rental, provided no damage is found.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

In case of bad weather (rain), for your safety, we do not take out the Vespas. Cancellations are of course free of charge. The Vespa must be returned by 18:30 at the latest.

What are the minimum driving license requirements for an excursion with our Vespa 50cc?

You must be at least 23 years old and have a valid category B driving license.

What are the minimum driving license requirements for an excursion with our Vespa 125cc?

You must hold a category A, A1, or A2 license, or you obtained your category B license before 01/05/2011. In this case, you are good to go.

If your category B license was issued after 01/05/2011, there are two options:
- You have held your category B license for at least 2 years and you take 4 hours of driving school lessons in a recognized school (without an exam). The driving school will give you a certificate that allows you to obtain a new permit at the local government office (according to code 372 = OK for 125cc vehicles).
- If you haven’t held your license for 2 years yet and want to obtain an A1 license, you must be at least 18 years old, take 9 hours of driving school lessons, and pass a theoretical and practical exam.

Attention:

Apart from the helmet, no specific clothing is required for the 50cc Vespa. For the 125cc Vespa, there are mandatory clothing regulations, and fines starting at €55 for non-compliance. These include gloves (of any type), shoes that cover your ankles, long pants, and a long-sleeve top. We recommend dressing according to the weather conditions.

Drivers must be at least 1.55 meters tall to safely maneuver the vehicle. When two people are traveling together on the Vespa, their combined weight must not exceed 175 kg to ensure stability and safety. We do not take responsibility for children shorter than 1.55 meters.

FAQ & IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Who is in charge of what? Do we have insurance?

All our Vespas have liability insurance, so damage to third parties will be covered by our insurance (with a €500 deductible), unless our insurer finds that the damage resulted from gross negligence such as intoxication or failure to follow instructions. Damages to the rented Vespas will be charged to the tenant and the driver. Only in case of theft or total loss (as confirmed by an independent expert) will we charge for the full damage or the current value of the vehicle. In case of loss of accessories (helmets, keys, top case, etc.), the total damage will be charged.

There is no insurance for your personal injuries.

Injuries to third parties - YES

Injuries to your passengers - YES (as they are also considered "third parties").

Conditions of our insurance:

The insurance provider declares that they are in possession of a signed document from the tenant confirming that:

The driver of the vehicle listed in the rental contract is at least 26 years old (23 years old for the 50cc) or older.
The driver of the vehicle has not been at fault in any accidents and has had a maximum of 1 accident in the past 5 years.
The insurance provider also declares that they have a copy of the front and back of the driver's license and a copy of the front and back of the ID card of the designated driver in the rental contract.

For the 125cc: A 36-liter top case that can fit a full-face helmet and a passenger backrest.
For the 50cc: A wicker basket.
Storage compartment under the seat for your personal belongings.
USB port for charging your smartphone (don't forget your cable).
Universal anti-vibration mount for using your GPS.
